About
iQuilt is the latest innovation on the web for quilt enthusiasts. Approximately twice a month there is a new issue of iQuilt with opportunities to promote your business, to inform readers of your latest specials and to entice web savvy quilters to buy online.
Our readers are hungry to learn about all the latest ‘stuff’ to feed their passion for quilt-making. No longer do you have to manage your advertising campaigns months in advance. New products can be promoted immediately on iQuilt to potentially millions of readers and your ad remains accessible indefinitely whilst the content remains available.
General
The deadline for advertising is generally 2 weeks before publication. Whilst we can update our site instantaneously we do need some time to install your advertisement.
Advertising is sold on a first come first served basis. It is up to you to supply us with images, text and links as appropriate.
Our ads are suitable for online businesses as they link through to a nominated target. However they are availabel for offline businesses and can be set up for emails.
Types of Advertisement
Currently all advertisements availabel in iQuilt are permanently embedded in an issue of iQuilt . When a new issue is published these remain intact within the previous issue and are seen whenever that back issue is viewed. At the moment and until further notice all back issues of iQuilt are available in the Issue List accessed via the top menu.
Listed below are the types of advertisements currently available. As new types of advertisements become availabel this list will be updated.
Issue Sponsorship:
These are located above the Issue navigation menu on the left. They are a rotating panel of advertisements with each ad receiving equal exposure over a period of time. The ads change every time you navigate to a different page. The current Issue Sponsors are also seen when you navigate to permanent content on the site. These are limited to 6 per issue and are sold on a first come first serve basis.
Bizcards:
Here is an opportunity to have an inexpensive business card sized ad in an issue. These are bought in multiple lots. They are a great way to get your business seen by our readers. Access is via the issue menu on the left.
Advertorial:
You may submit a paid advertorial for publishing. Standard size is the equivalent of 2 pages in a word document which should be a mix of text and images.
Q-Mart:
These are the online equivalent of quarter page ads. You can use them for anything you like but they are particulalry appropriate for Kits and Blocks of the Month (BOMs). These are suitable for limited time offers and allow Kit and BOM suppliers to launch their new products. They also allow readers to go back and see what was availabel at a certain time and when specific offers were launched. Standard ad is an image, 210 pixels wide by 200 pixels high, with a link.
