Memories

Finished Quilt Size: 40in x 40in (100cm x 100cm)
Memories was made to celebrate the birthday of the matriarch of the Fail family, Gwyn Fail who emigrated from England in 1952. Memories records her wedding, her children, her passion for sewing, with a tiger cub at work, with her grown family, two sets of grandchildren and her three great grandchildren. Family members at the party signed the label on the back of the quilt. Karen Fail (daughter-in-law) made the quilt with the help of her children, Gwyn’s grandchildren – Rachel Ottley, Emma Nathan and Abby Hogarth.
