Flying Geese Units
A great method for speed piecing Flying Geese units one at a time.

Step 1

Image

You will need 1 rectangle (the length of the geese unit + 1/2in ) x
(the width of the geese unit + 1/2in)
AND 2 squares  (half the length of the geese unit + 1/2in).

Step 2

Image

On the back of each square, draw one diagonal line.

Step 3

Image

Place a small square on top of the left corner of the
rectangle, right sides together. Sew on the diagonal line.
Trim back 1/4in from the seam line leaving the
rectangle intact underneath.
